Thanks Lale, good to be back. Actually, I never really left--I routinely monitor the postings to read the interesting things you guys have to say. But I don't often feel that I have much meaningful stuff to contribute, so I withhold from posting. But maybe my New Year's resolution should be to contribute more? We'll see.
In any case, my son is doing well. A precocious two-year old, with all that that entails. I'm sure those of you with kids and/or nieces and nephews know what I'm talking about! ;-)
Hope you had a great holiday season. Best to you all in the coming year!

: Dear Riziko,
:
: So good to see you here. How have you been? What are
: you reading? Why didn't you participate in our 2012
: selection?
:
: Very happy to see your name in here, please stay.
:
: How is your little boy doing?
:
: Guillermo: "It's fun to read a book in which one
: can feel the city, visualize the scenes, travel along
: with the characters as they walk the city." Yes,
: that is fun. This kind of feeling can only be achieved
: with big towns: Mexico City, New York City, Paris etc.
:
: The other book that was so evocative of the place it
: was set in, was Gabriela, Clove and Cinnamon. I still
: dream of going to Ithaca.
