Guillermo: "It's fun to read a book in which one can feel the city, visualize the scenes, travel along with the characters as they walk the city." Yes, that is fun. This kind of feeling can only be achieved with big towns: Mexico City, New York City, Paris etc.
The other book that was so evocative of the place it was set in, was Gabriela, Clove and Cinnamon. I still dream of going to Ithaca.
