I don't like jargon either, and that includes : acronyms. My favorite example of acronyms was in a hospital meeting. Previously, doctors were called to the Emergency Room whenever they were needed. It was proposed that they make rounds twice a day, morning and evening. However, the way this was phrased was :" The M.D. in the E.D. should be B.I.D. rather than P.R.N." :^)
