Name: Kelsey Message: East of Eden was by far the greatest novel I have ever read. The plot was captivating, smart, beautiful and heartbreaking. Each character was artfully crafted by Steinbeck to give the story rich substance and dimension. I felt that the overall tone of the book ranged from innocent and lovely to disturbing and raw, with delightful bursts of humor intertwined. Above all, it was realistic, and I believe that anyone could relate to the theme in some way. Hats off to John... another masterpiece. My Input Box 1: East of Eden Hearts: 5 Hearts
