Our October reading selection is The Betrothed (or I promessi sposi) by Alessandro Manzoni.
What plans do the rest of you have for reading this book?
I ask only because of its considerable length and the fact that I read it just a few years ago. If there is to be only limited participation, then I might not re-read it since I still remember the basic elements of the story.
