I read "The Tunnel" 22 years ago, so I'd give it another try, but I especially like your suggestion about Bioy Casares's "The Invention of Morel", which I have been wanting to read for years. It is really a shame that this group hasn't read anything by an Argentinian author, considering there are such ones as Julio Cortazar and Jorge Luis Borges.
