Alex Carnevale’s list of The 100 Greatest Novels. These are, by his definition, “modern” and not strictly 20th century. I just discovered this list last week and rather like it. He has a companion list of greatest Science Fiction.

Dick Meyer from NPR published this list of 100 greatest 20th century novels in English.
This final list is one I copied directly as I couldn’t find a decent link to it. It is from St. Mark’s Bookshop and is called the “Additional 100” as a supplement to the Modern Library list. It includes only authors that the Modern Library list omitted, and a limit of one book per author. This is a very interesting list.
