Jesus Christ, I almost missed a discussion of lists.
Oh well, I don't have much to say anyway.
Steven, you got all the way through the Wake? Impressive. I've tried twice. Hope to do it someday. It will take a while. I don't think I can take more than three pages a day of that. I want to get another guide. Joyce's Book of the Dark.
I'll think about what I might add or remove from the list. Of the books mentioned so far that I can remember now:
I enjoyed Tropic of Cancer but I doubt it belongs in the top 100.
I disliked Gravity's Rainbow but think it probably does belong in the top 100.
I haven't liked the D.H. Lawrence novels I've read.
I like Possession very much.
