I´m curious about the two new translations, but I like the book very well in my Malmstead Maguire translation. I´ve already read it for our talk. Actually, I read it twice. Read it, read something else, and then read it again. I think I like it more each time I read it. It might have the most fascinating style of any book I´ve ever read. I was so fascinated this time that I´m now reading The Silver Dove. Unfortunately, my concentration has not been great. The style is not what it is in Petersburg, but you can see it coming. I´m enjoying it pretty well. I think I´ll reread it soon, hopefully with better concentration.
