I'll come up with my nominations later in the week (tons of urgent work right now).
I'm eager to read The Savage Detectives, I have it in my soon-to-read list anyway. And a lot of the action takes place in Mexico City, so I would add to the discussion on details.
Jacques the Fatalist is a book I love, so perhaps I would re-read it with you guys. Love in the Time of Cholera is another one I absolutely loved, though I don't think I'd read it again now.
The rest of yout list sounds very interesting also, and I haven't read those ones.
