I read Glass Bead Game two years ago and wasn't planning on re-reading this soon, so I'm ready to discuss it at any time or to move on to The Sea.
I'm glad that we read A Suitable Boy, but I think the idea of reading it year-long in parallel with our monthly schedule didn't work very well. If we pick a huge book next year (Clarissa, anyone?), I would recommend just giving it two or three consecutive months on the schedule.
