: Most of my reading time lately has gone to A Suitable
: Boy. It's really caught my interest, and I may go
: ahead and try to finish it this month. I'm about
: halfway through. One drawback, though, is that my left
: wrist is literally sore from holding it.
I am also halfway through it and I also have the wrist problem, especially since I read lying down on my side and have nothing to lean the book against. I hold it up in my hand. But why left wrist? In my case it is the right hand, since up until the half of the book, right side is heavier. No?
You know, the author warns us against this hazard at the very beginning with a poem:
Buy me before good sense insists
You'll strain your purse and sprain your wrists.
