I know it's early in the month, but I just wanted to let you know that I've finished "The Black Tulip", by Dumas, our book club assignment for this month, and that I'll be ready for discussion whenever someone else is. Although it's a minor work, I enjoyed it immensely. It had been ages since I last read Dumas, and this book brought back some of the fondest memories of my childhood and adolescence. Much of the action present in other books is absent here, and it's basically a pink pink love story, but Dumas surprises us with excellent sentences and reflexions on human nature, which makes it all the more enjoyable.
PS: Lale, if I remember well, your name means "tulip", is that so?
