That's interesting. I didn't think of it. I knew of The Erasers, but since I haven't read it, it doesn't occupy much space in my mind. An eraser is a common enough object to have passed unnoticed by me. But it probably is an allusion to the book, esp. since you find another in In the Labyrinth. At the very least, it would seem that an eraser is an object which fascinates R-G, and thus one important in his work. Let me know if you find another example in The Voyeur.
