Thanks Steven. I probably would have bought the Lawrence book if you hadn't warned me. I'm not sure what I'll do now. If I read the concise history, I probably won't want to read more. I wasn't planning to order anything soon, so I guess I'll wait and hope I'm better able to afford the Riasanovsky/Steinberg later. The 792p. combined volume is the whole thing, right?
I hope you and your wife have a great trip. I'd love to see St. Petersburg and Moscow.
