Hi Steven,
I read "Palace Walk" and was very impressed with it, though I wonder if something more was lost in translation. In any case, I don't think I'll be able to get to the second volume before the end of the year.
On a related note: it just occurred to me, looking over the list for this year, that we really chose some great books to discuss. Hopefully next year's list is just as good (it does seem to be), and we'll have even more participation in the discussions (myself included) than we did this year.
