I bought The Fifth Business and The Chess Story a couple of weeks ago and I already had the Paradise of Fitzgerald... Now, I am in the exact middle of War and Peace. I know you are all sick of hearing this but what can I do, I am still reading War and Peace. 600 down 600 more to go. I am really relieved that there are no such big books for next year. When I read a book I have no problem talking about it or talking about it first. This year I couldn't lead any discussions because I was reading, always, War and Peace :-) Still, I'd like to remind everyone that I did read: and I had already read: and I was optimistic enough to buy: The Chess Game is a very very small book, a noveletta, so I will most definitely read it. I also squeezed in a Canadian book: Michael Ignatieff's "Scar Tissue" which is a fabulous book. Lale
