SERT & BMW seem a tad ahead of YART & GMT94 in the 2.02 area. Billy, TTL & Folch all 2.03/4. Although 44 in day much cooler after 5pm and TTL bike running very cool. No major problems I heard of and no upsets on track either. Qualifying is all tonight in back to sack sessions.

quAlification was all in the dark and was affected by timing failure in the middle group 2 nd session. Results were published which seemed perfectly correct by our hand timing records but there has been suggestion of re-running the session. The last session was delayed while the system was fixed and. Warm up is delayed 2 hrs today due to the late finish. Laverty & O'Halloran both continued to improve to within 2 secs of the leaders, none of whom got under 2 Mins. Unsure when full results will be available. Ru Mour has it that BMW are down to their last engine. Giabanni fell due to being blinded by the lights & Lavertty clipped a kern. No injuries.

i'll eat my hat if anyone correctly predicted that one. TL amazed to finish 3rd and be 2nd in EWC! Rear caliper cx late on ruined any TTL hopes of catching Bollly. BMW ran almost Q pace until chasers fell away then dropped 1 sec to cruse home. SERT had 2 stops due to oil coooler . YART blew engine and I think GMT also with Folch crashing on oil SST we think saw history made as Nina Prinz became 1st ever winner of a world road racing event - cue discussion and frantic googling! Yet another cracking race at Losail
