Well another year come and gone, just wonder how daft the ornganisers have felt not having a pit lane walk about untill a couple of years ago Eeee Ewwww.
Must have been the smallest crowd i'v seen any in many a year.
They really have done a good job of modernising the circuit, even saw a refuse guy cleaning up in the middle of the night!!,but the 24 hour does miss something without the rubbish and broken glass, can't beat progress e'h.
What a shambles the BMW effort was, sometimes you really do wonder!!
Well done to Kawasaki,a happy win for the majority of folk, see you next year.
BMW a shambles ? they had an electrical problem luckily for every one .considering the bike was built in a couple of days and they managed a fastest lap of 38.4 in the race I think they did a good job for the first time competeing in EFC. I know as a Yamaha man I worry about the potential of the BMW in the races to come.
You obviously didn't see the BM twins from a couple years ago and the squad and the intent that BMW turned up with,in comparison this year GMT/Kawasaki/Sert and various honda options,I saw a pretty poor setup in the BM garage, more a case of doing what theyed been paid to do,and yes I am, and was aware of what went on before Le-Mans with who was going to run the team.
Yes I idid see them and the fact is that its the same team actually.the only difference was two days prep and the only team in the paddock with real factory support on the ground.
