The qualifying is slower than I thought it would be. Anyone know why Mugga's isn't on the BMP Honda ? The Open class lives up to it's reputation. A swallower of places for teams with ambition. (Except the Metisse, which has my full admiration, and is the only real justification for the continued existence of the category...)
The Superpole should be fun as the REAL qualifying rubber comes out. Alf's need to up their game a bit, though. It's a tough lot this year, and it looks like it's going to be a race to remember.

Although it's sunny, there's quite a cool wind been blowing this morning; I don't know how this has affected track temperature.
Nothing confirmed yet, but I fear Alf's are out; they're showing as 56th, and only 55 will start.
The BMP / Elf Honda needs a quick thrid rider. At the moment it looks like Damo Cudlin and Lagrive will be doing all the work...
Alf's Through to Warm Up - Qualified to Race

Rumours of Alf's failure to qualify seem to have been exaggerated; they are listed as a team "admitted to participate in the 24 Hour warm-up" so it looks as though they will race after all.
With the both Cudlins on the grid and Phase One tucked up in bed in somerset,is there a little redemption in the air for the brothers? Along with all this Icelandic volcanic ash.
