closing hours "battle" and heroic push backs!

I don't think we were trying to managage anything with regard to Bolly - they were 3 laps ahead! But we were very worried about BMW. At first we were convinced that they would just cruise back past us but it became clear that they were not quite as fast as they had been and there was a chance to hold them off perhaps with a bit of luck on our part and some really good rider strategy. But then they got another bit of really bad luck and lost another couple of laps and we were able to stay ahead relatively easily from then on. We were able to stay in front of Folch fairly comfortably having only dropped back to them due to one very slow hour when we selected the wrong tyre.
BTW I forgot to mention the 2 most amazingly heroic push backs uphill I've seen since Glen Richards at Losail. The first was with a destroyed front wheel (came past the pit slumped over the tank with 2 mechs hauling it with a stick through the lifting tube) and the second with the rider looking half dead having pushed it on a flat rear tyre. We're pretty certain this was the same team and we all thought it was the same rider! Can anyone confirm - and did they get a finish?
