[Blush] To do a general bike racing site well, you need to be at most of the races you're covering. A lot of people think you can do it just by re-publishing team and championship press releases, but that's a mug's game; you need some way of standing out from all the other sites that are doing the same. One organisation I've recently applied to for press accreditation specifically ruled out websites that just syndicate other peoples press releases, saying they wouldn't be considered. So to cover MotoGP, SBK, BSB, World Endurance, etc is a monumental task. MCN and Crash.Net have their own reporters and photographers at every race of each of the first three, just to uncover what's not in the press releases. In 2002 Race24 even had our own BSB correspondent - Bob - who used to go to all the British races. We also did all our own research on championship series, circuits, bikes, riders, rules and so on; that's what made us stand out and why people kept coming back to our site. So, original poster Bill, get writing. You'll need to develop your own style (and stance) but if you get it right, an audience is out there. No one is going to do it for you, and I don't think anyone *can* do it for you. The FIM can't even do it for themselves... MG
