"Has Big H got fed up of National Motos?" That's a very good question. [rant] The World Endurance Championship has been a largely French sport since the FIM and FGSport parted company, with the notable exception of Yamaha Austria. The only race to attract a decent crowd outside France is Suzuka, and that's always existed seperately from the main championship anyway. Has anyone here who doesn't work for a team or the organisers ever been to the Albacete or Qatar races? 90% of the media coverage of the championship is French, most of the non-permanent teams are French, etc, etc. I really hope Donington will have a big "festival" feel to it, but without advanced publicity from the championship promoters, it ain't going to happen. And who are the championship promoters? There aren't any. The French (and Japanese) races promote themselves quite successfully so there *is* no promotion for the championship as a whole. You could be in Albacete on the weekend of the 8 Hour race and not be aware that it's happening [rant over]
