Cheers for the blog. Without me paying for "Europublicity-in-the-middle-of-a-passing-maneuver"...uh, Eurosport, it at least gave some life to the woefully undercovered 24 Heures du Mans.
As I watched some rather pathetic 4-wheeled things crawling around an expensive track somewhere under Far Eastern rain clouds for hour after boring hour, I reflected on what a snappy presentation and awesome images of on-track and in-pit-lane and IN-box could do for our excellent sport.
21st century gladiators in a packed arena, complete with fireballs and human drama. For diversity, the camera crew could even add a few minutes (late in the evening, of course...) of the "action" from the other side of the fence, which is always amusing....
