    I've heard a roumor that the Japanese Government want all forms of motor sport involving japanese companies stopped due to the current financial climate. That in theory would mean (in the main)only Aprilia BMW and Ducati competing in motorcycle racing around the world. In Formula 1 all the teams have now gone, Bridgstone have said they will not be re-newing their tyre contract after the 2010 season. Can you imagine no Yamaha, no Honda, no Kawasaki and no Suzuki in The WEC, unless the money to run the teams was totally privately gained. MOTO GP 'no teams' etc etc etc
