    I`d guess YART know this , but just in case they haven`t seen it ; MCN and several other magazines are currently running big full page colour adverts - from a well known French tyre manufacturer - congratulating YART on their World Championship.





    However . That same tyre company hasn`t mentioned that there own team was cheating , but , ho hum . . . . . .

    And M.C.N. don`t seem to mind taking the advertising revenue for a Championship they don`t really cover , but , that's alright i suppose . . . . . .

    But they`re not alone . A well known Italian tyre maker is running adverts proclaiming how well they`ve done in ( an Italian run ) Global Superbike Championship . Quoting how many podiums and how many race wins they`ve had etc etc . Though this is not altogether surprising ( and not actually much of an achievment ) when you remember they are the single control tyre supplier . . . . . . . . .
    . . "winingest" . I ask you !


    Am i getting cynical ? Please tell me . Is it too much to hope for , a bit of integrity ? Have some of these advertising and media people no conscience ? Aaah . I think i may have just seen the light ( sponsored by Acme lightbulbs . . . )


    And truly . Well done to Austria by the way . No fault of theirs at all .
