The last time we had successive DNFs was probably the disastrous 1996 season, in fact if I recall we didn't finish a single race that year. Probably the reason behind Russell's decision at le Mans in '97 to repair the ZXR when it dropped a valve whilst Dave Jefferies was on it, so we did, total turnaround time something like 57mins and we kept circulating to finish in about 27th place - after the previous year it was important just to get a finish on the board...
