Hi Claire,
Very few people that I am aware of bring their horses with them. However, there are several places nearby where you could keep them, that are easily accessible by public transport (Lagan Valley Equestrian Centre, and Burn Equestrian Club). I'm not sure of the prices, but I know several members keep their horses at Lagan Valley.
