The song to which you are referring is called "Gimme Back My Blues" and was originally released on the 1979 RCA album HALF AND HALF. I believe the song was written by Billy Ed Wheeler. HALF AND HALF is out of print but you may be able to find a used copy on eBay. Also, check the available Jerry Reed compilation CDs, it may be on one of those.
