Jerry, Hi my name is Jeff baker, I am from Willards Maryland, and I have been a big fan of yours for about forty years now. I was surfing the web and I got to thinking, I wonder if Jerry Reed has a web sight, boy you do have a very good web sight. I am sorry to see that your health is not the best and I pray that you do get better. Jerry, The truth is when I seen your film clip about your work with the vets and the CD that you have done, I broke down and cried, I though, there is a man despite of his own disability, out there working tirelessly to help our men and womem who helped to keep our freedom in the U.S.A and also helped them thou their own problems that all vets face, god bless you Jerry, one day you will be rewarded well for all the good you have done for the vets as well as all the happiness you gave us, the fans though the years with your songs and movies. You know, Jerry, I was never lucky enough to get to see you in person at your shows, the first one I missed was in 1972 at the Salisbruy Wicomico Civic Center, my sister-in law didnt get the tickets on time, the next time you were at the sailwinds civic center in Cambridge Maryland about five to six years ago, I missed it also, my wife and myself were taking care of my mother, who was getting over injuries from a head on auto crash, but I did have two friends who did go to see you and they got me your picture and a CD, I really loved it. Jerry you have allways been a big influance on me though out my life, I have spend many hours singing along with you on records, tapes, 45s, CDs, and seen every movie from WW & The Dixee Dance Kings to The Water Boy and not to forget Old Dogs.
