Wow...71 years old. Where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday you were cutting up w/ Glen Campbell, funning with Ralph Emery, out running Buford(Jackie Gleason) w/ Bandit(Burt Reynolds), or picking with Chet. Lots of great memories. Everytime I hear Eastbound and Down or When You're Hot You're Hot or She Got the Goldmine or Guitar Man...a wide smile rolls across my face. A dj usually refers to you as the guitar virtuoso who played for Elvis or the 3 time Grammy winner. But you'll always be much more than that Jerry. The gift you gave all us fans for years...who came to your shows, watched the movies, or bought the albums/45s... adds up to wonderful memories of a truely gifted artist. Who never took himself too seriously, but made the best music he knew how. On behalf of a whole bunch of Jerry Reed fans...Happy Birthday Jerry. God Bless you & your family.
