If anyone is interested in doing acent reduction training to supplement your school income, I highly recomment the following conferences: Compton P-ESL training (www.800language.com) and Katie Schwartz's seminar on corporate speech pathology (www.keeppaceseminers.com). I love doing accent reduction training with adults. Many of the techniques that you use are similiar to what you do with kids who have articulation disorders. This kind of work would be very easy to combine with a school job. The clients prefer evening hours anyway, since most of them work during the day. THe best part is that adults make rapid progress and there is no paperwork to deal with! No ARD documents and no insurance!
