I just attended a workshop by Judy Montgomery (former president of ASHA)in October. It was entitled "Making Meaning: Literacy Strategies for Students with Special Needs." I thought it was excellent and several therapy ideas were mentioned. Although the pamphlet lists the target audience as "Pre-K thru 12" SLP's, I'd say that most ideas were for elementary age. I would definately recommend it though.
