I went to see Sarah James present the workshop "Current, Best Strategies to Help SLPs Support Student Literacy Skills" last March. As literacy is the push in my school district right now, she provided ways that an SLP can work within the writing and reading framework while still accomplishing IEP/language goals. If you have the chance, definitely attend her workshop! She was a great presenter and I left with a ton of ideas!
