Dirty War is about a dirty bomb being detonated in London by a group of terrorists and the devastating effects from it. At first I wasn't too sure I wanted to watch because I feel that the media does enough with playing on peoples fears. But it wasn't like that at all. Your region does sound nice. We had a bit of snowfall in the past two days, but it doesn't look anywhere as pretty as yours sounds. It's actually all grey now. I am familiar with Sheffield because I was such a big Def Leppard fan in the early '80's and they always mentioned their hometown. The last train is at 9:30, wow that doesn't leave you much time to enjoy the nightlife. I guess you'd probably have to spend the night there and catch a morning train back. I couldn't agree with you more, sheer determination is a powerful thing alright. Yeah it's kind of frightening how fast time passes isn't it; when I think back to when I was a kid and quarter of an hour could seem like a long time and now it's just a blink. Yeah I have to admit, the countryside around here (North Lincolnshire) is pretty special. It's been snowing the past couple of days and the landscape just looked like something right off a Christmas card. We're not too cut off here either, there is a town about 10 miles away where you can get everything you need. Anything more obscure can be bought online. Sheffield is just under an hour away on the train too. Public transport here is rubbish though, the nearest good shows or gigs tend to be at Sheffield, and the last train home is at 9.30pm LOL Not very handy really, is it! I have managed to catch quite a few FLC gigs though. Sheer determination is a powerful thing!
Exactly, when I was a kid it took forever just for Christmas and my birthday to come around. Not to mention for the school year to end, which was like 9 1/2 months.
Ah I have a Panasonic DVD player so the remote control hacks don't work on it. It all depends how well the dvd player is encoded as to whether or not remote control hacks work. That's why I have a multimod chip in it. I haven't seen or heard of Dirty War.. if it turns up on TV I'll look out for it though.
