It all depends how well the dvd player is encoded as to whether or not remote control hacks work. That's why I have a multimod chip in it. I haven't seen or heard of Dirty War.. if it turns up on TV I'll look out for it though. Yeah I have to admit, the countryside around here (North Lincolnshire) is pretty special. It's been snowing the past couple of days and the landscape just looked like something right off a Christmas card. We're not too cut off here either, there is a town about 10 miles away where you can get everything you need. Anything more obscure can be bought online. Sheffield is just under an hour away on the train too. Public transport here is rubbish though, the nearest good shows or gigs tend to be at Sheffield, and the last train home is at 9.30pm LOL Not very handy really, is it! I have managed to catch quite a few FLC gigs though. Sheer determination is a powerful thing!
Yeah it's kind of frightening how fast time passes isn't it; when I think back to when I was a kid and quarter of an hour could seem like a long time and now it's just a blink.
