Posted by Susan G. Pearl I remember you from the research that I did on Perkins Chapel many years ago when you were pastor at Glenn Dale Methodist Church. Now, after all those years as County Historian for M-NCPPC, I am County Historian for the PGC Historical Society. Susan G. Pearl, Historian --Previous Message--

Hi Reverend Menne,
I am sorry that we had to close the library last Saturday - this happens VERY rarely, and this time it was a medical emergency that forced us to close. I put a message on the PGCHS telephone (301-464-0590) telling of our forced closing, and hoped that researchers would call before coming, but you (and I hope not too many others) got caught! I'm very sorry about that! I am there almost every Saturday, and had always in the past been able to get someone to help on the rare occasions that I cannot be there, but this time it did not work.
I will definitely be there this coming Saturday (10/1) and probably every Saturday for the next months; also I can arrange to meet you there some weekday, if we arrange it enough ahead of time. You may call me at my home/office (301-262-3367) and we can set something up. Also, you may wish to tell me the subject of your research, and I may be able to tell you (a) whether we have pertinent materials, (b) where else you might find information, or (c) possibly answer some of your questions over the phone.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you with your research.
