I entered Camp Casey into the Google search engine and it came back that there was a Camp Casey in Bladensburg near Cottage City, loosely named for one of the leaders. There are several threads out there in the search engines. I didn't read anything about a cemetery at Camp Casey, but Fort Lincoln Cemetery is in Bladensburg.
: To: John Sagert
: I have no knowledge and no record in
: Maryland of a Camp Casey. Never having
: heard of this camp, I checked several Civil
: War sources, looking for Camp Casey, Fort
: Casey, and Battery Casey, and find no record
: of any such in Maryland. I'm sure that I
: would have known about it if it had been in
: Prince George's County, but since I cannot
: find any record of it in Maryland, I can
: only suggest that you try to search with
: more detail in other Civil War sources.
:
: Sorry I am not able to help you. Good luck
: with your search!
