Hi, Mercine, I am out of town during the holidays, but will answer you more fully when I return to Marietta. The late 19th-century community of Bright Seat was located roughly near the present-day intersection of Landover Road and Bright Seat Road. It did have a post office in the late 19th century, but I'll have to check a few sources before I can give you any more details.
