On that road to Queen Anne are the Mount Nebo church and the Mount Nebo school. The church (built in 1925 to replace the original 1877 church),last time I saw it, was in very bad shape, but the school still stands in pretty good condition, although it has been enlarged several times, so is barely recognizable as the old 1876 one-room schoolhouse.
If you contact our Historical Society by e-mail at info@pghistory.org, and send me an e-mail address, I can send you a photo of the schoolhouse and the church, as well as a map showing the old Florenceville Road.
