I vaguely recall seeing what appeared to be some sort of AA defense installation on Riggs Rd between Chillum Rd and Eastern Ave in the late 1950's, about where a shopping center is now.
This was just before Riggs Rd got widened and re-paved.
Is my memory fooling me?
If it existed, is it documented anywhere?
