My cousin five times removed and I are looking for the parents of our common fifth great-grandfather, Captain William Parrott, who is said to have been born and married in Prince Georges County..born around 1720 and married in Marlboro around 1752 to a woman also from Prince Georges. I am very new at this kind of search and am wondering if it would be best if I come to Maryland or is there research help available by correspondence?
