The Lanham House, built in the 1890s, and enlarged and renovated in the 1920s and 1930s, stood near the present Red Lobster restaurant. We have at the PGC Historical Society Library (at Marietta)a file with information about this building, the home of Truman Lanham, and later his son Paul Lanham. Let us know whether you would like to come in and look at it, or would like us to send information to you. You can call 301-464-0590, and leave a message, and we will get back to you, probably not until after Labor Day.
