Hi Gretchen
so good to hear from you. Sorry to say this has become a dead end for me. We have been tempted to "jump" tracks and pursue George et al in to Scots-Irish but have no real justification to do so. We have gotten solid results forward in time on to James Bordley Ross of Tennessee then Hopkins County Ky then on to Texas..but not past Dr. David Ross..just speculation with lots of anecdotal evidence and unsubstantiated leads. Lots of hard data back to this point, letters mentioning Dr. David, etc. Even from the Old Bailey in London! Happy to share any/all with you. PS - my father's sister's name is Sarah Ross etc etc - Certainly have come across John ?Stewart? Stuart. Drop me an email offline so I can send you some interesting docs.

: Did you find the parents of Dr. David Ross of
: Bladensburg? I am still looking for them. My
: ancestry is through his daughter Sarah Ross
: who married John Stuart, also of
: Bladensburg. There is a lot of information
: online about David's wife, Ariana Brice's,
: ancestry, but I've found zero for David's.
: Or for John Stuart's.
: Please let me know if you've discovered
: them.
: Best regards,
