Joseph J. Bauer Sr. ( J.J. Bauer ) was my great uncle. He was a jockey in the years 1913-1919 at the race tracks in Maryland around Washington D.C. and later a horse trainer up to about 1950. Would there be any information about his horseman career or an obituary in a local Prince George's County newspaper that might include this ? He was a resident of College Park and died January 15, 1984. Thank you.
