If you know the address, you can do a search on the property to get that information (link for Real Property Search below). Old buildings aren't all considered "historic", though. If it was used as an office, it probably wasn't kept up and often the original look on the inside is modified to be more modern in a cheap way (not to keep the original look & materials).
