PENCAK SILAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Dear brothers and sisters.

Here under is the information from the Secretariat of CB PERSILAT :

1. To fulfill the invitation of the Russian Pencak Silat Federatuion (RPSF), on October the 27th 2006, the Presient of PERSILAT will attend the World Martial Arts Festival in Moscow. Mr. President bring a Team of Pencak Silat from Indonesia, consisted of 8 Pesilats (Pencak Silat practitiones) to participate in the mentioned festival. From Moscow, Mr. President will visit Azerbajan to see directly the development of Pencak Silat in the said country.

2. On November the 25th 2006 PERSILAT will arrange a meeting of the founding members of PERSILAT, that is IPSI, PESAKA, PERSISI and PERSIB, at Padeponan Pencak Silat Indonesia, Jakarta.

3. World Pencak Silat Championship is planned to be arranged on 19 to 26 August 2007 in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia.
