First-time visitors are advised to travel north on 208th Street (if coming from Highway 1, take the 200th Street exit and cross over to 208th on 88th Avenue) and watch for the green and yellow park entrance signs. Own drinks, Meat for the bbq. (Safari Foods will have Boerewors, Pork Sausages, Biltong & Droewors and S.A.Canned Pop and Appletisers for sale at the park)
Own picnic blanket, Sun umbrella and lawn chairs. Gas braai (we unfortunately have not got a covered, reserved facility which provided wood and fire pit). Don't forget the games e.g. volleyball, badminton, RUGBY balls etc and for the more energetic, of us, bicycles.
THERE WILL BE SEVERAL LUCKY DRAWS !!! (with prizes donated by: SACanada, Safari Gourmet Pies, Rhodesians World Wide - Vancouver Chapter, Nando’s Canada, Engima, ABC Country Restaurant – White Rock, Bemberi Marketing, Minuteman Press - South Vancouver.
