Small Business opportunity in Toronto or Vancouver

Can anybody help giving ideas about running small business in Great Toronto or Vancouver area? what are the opportunity and type of small business to run in Canada? What could be the minimum amount required to invest such business?
We are four family members about to move to Canada and we have trasferred some of $200000CDN to TD Canada trust to invest in Business.
