Responsible for the maintenance and reliability of the following: 500 ton per day sulphuric acid plant built in 1974. With the following plants attached sulphur dioxide, sulphur trioxide, oleum, sulphonic acid and alumin sulphate.
To motivate, plan and execute a 36 monthly turnaround on the plant. Setting a new standard for sulphur plants for completing the turnaround in 12 days sulphur to sulphur. This included managing a labour force of 150 extra artisans for the shut period.
Implement a maintenance strategy and plan on all equipment to comply with national and company Health safety and environment policies.
